What an event Horse of the Year Show 2019 was for Horslyx Ambassadors, and sisters, Amy and Vikki Smith from Burnley in Lancashire. Amy took M&M Working Hunter Pony on her own Connemara, Laburnum Richard, with sister Vikki in 2nd place on her Connemara, JP Corbally. Amy and Laburnam Richard, known at home as Pedro, then went on to scoop the M&M Working Hunter Championship for the third time!
Vikki followed Amy’s success when she won with the lovely Del Boy V in his final year of competition before being retired. After winning the Coloured Ridden Native/Cob/Traditional Pony of the Year, they went on to take Champion in the CHAPS Coloured Horse and Pony of the Year Championship!
Horslyx are offering you the chance to win a masterclass with Amy and Vikki to set you up for success in the 2020 showing season! Amy and Vikki are well placed to get your 2020 show season off to a top class start, whatever classes you are interested in.
Enter the prize draw for a chance to win a masterclass with the Smith Show Team at their yard in Spring 2020 which will involve a flat and jumping lesson on your own horse, plus tips to take you to the top!
The prize will involve the following:• Tips in tack and turnout to suit your horse or pony
• Show ring skills
• Flatwork lesson
• Jumping lesson (Or a second flatwork session if preferred)
• A Year’s supply of 15kg Horslyx Balancer of your choice
• A Horslyx Rug, Saddlecloth and Polo Shirt plus Goody Bag for you and your horse or pony
• An image from the day
• Lunch to be provided by Horslyx
How to enter:
Simply describe your aims for 2020 season and submit a short video of what you’ve done in 2019. Submit your video by either posting on the competition post on the Horslyx Facebook page facebook.com/horslyx, private message the Horslyx Facebook page facebook.com/horslyx or email email@example.com with your video sent via a download link or attached to the video.
The closing date is 8th December and the winner will be announced in time for Christmas!
Terms and Conditions:
Date will be in Spring 2020 and to be agreed by all parties. It is your responsibility to get your horse or pony to Amy and Vikki’s yard near Burnley, Lancashire on the agreed date. All travel and other expenses to be covered by the winner. All photography and videos of the Masterclass will remain the copyright of Horslyx and may be used for marketing purposes. Safety equipment must be up to current standards. If poor weather is likely, an alternative venue will be sourced close to Burnley.
