Owen and I got our first flags on our numnah competing over in Ireland!

My mum took him over while I was at school and then I flew out with my dad ready to give him a leg stretch.

It was not the dressage day we were hoping for as Owen schooled wondefully the day before and on the morning but got very upset just before his test and was quite tense so it was a disappointing mark of 45 (FEI) but was super exciting to do our first test abroad.

Then he was such a superstar, producing another clear round with 10 time at his second CIC* which was so pleasing, especially with proper Irish fences like a huge bank!
Finally on the showjumping very clever Owen managed to finish 3rd with an unlucky 12 faults but over the moon considering the conditions were absolutely awful after a day of rain, he finished looking like he had gone hunting.

Huge thank you to everyone that helped us.
